Call for Small Scale Renewable Energy Proposals

Around £14m of EU funds is  available for more small scale community renewable energy proposals.

A statement released by the Welsh Government said “We are encouraging more proposals to come forward to benefit from £10m available in West Wales & the Valleys and £4m in East Wales. Any organisation (public, private, third sector) can apply.  Green Growth and the transition to a low carbon economy represents a key opportunity to support the development of small scale or community renewable energy schemes.  The area includes Denbighshire and Conwy within its footprint.

A drop-in session for interested parties will be held at Llandudno Junction, 16th May

A guidance document ‘Call for Small Scale Renewable Energy Proposals – Guidance for Applicants’ is available on line to advise and complement  enquiries from potential applicants.

The deadline for proposals to WEFO is 30th June 2017
