Work has started on a revamp of the Bruton Park estate in south Rhyl.
Denbighshire County Council say funding from the Housing Revenue Account Subsidy system will help improve open spaces for local residents. The work will include more planting at the entrance, landscaping around the pond and creating a new play area.
Head of housing services, Jamie Groves, said the council was ”committed not only to improving the housing stock but also improving the public realm”.
Councillor Barbara Smith added: ”We believe this investment was really important…we are very proud that our housing department are taking the lead on this ambitious project and we are sure the results of all the hard work will look fantastic when the work is finished.’’
