Brown sauce break-in: Rhyl man to be sentenced

A court has heard how a Rhyl man daubed the carpet of his girlfriend’s home in brown sauce in a rage.

Martin Roberts of Trellewelyn Road broke into his partner’s house last weekend and wrote ‘cheating cow’ when she had not returned home from a party with friends – they had been out drinking earlier.

Roberts (34), who admitted burglary, also pleaded guilty to twice breaching a restraining order from contacting an ex-girlfriend who he had attacked.

Prestatyn magistrates adjourned the case for sentencing at Mold Crown Court on Thursday 4th June.
