Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Liam Hill nearly a month ago.
A 46 year-old man is being questioned by detectives on suspicion of murder, alongside a 41 year-old woman, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Both suspects are from the Rhyl area.
The arrests come just a day after an emotional appeal for information from Mr Hill’s sister, Colette Sudlow. She said the murder was ”a nightmare we can’t wake up from…we are angry that someone’s actions have taken Liam’s life and destroyed ours”.

Police working on ‘Operation Panatella’ are still appealing for witnesses to come forward. On Friday, Detective Superintendent Mark Chesters said: ”I am certain the key to this investigation lies within the local community. We are certain that someone within this area will have seen something or have some snippet of information that can help identify who was involved and allow us to bring some degree of justice to his distraught family.”
Anyone with information should call 101 (quoting Operation Panatella) or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
