Bomber pulls out of Air Show 2016

The Lancaster Bomber will not be appearing at this year’s Rhyl Air Show.

Organisers say the four engine bomber has had to pull out because of engine problems and will not be available for displays until next week at the earliest.

It was due to appear in the Battle of Britain memorial flight on both Saturday and Sunday, alongside a Spitfire Mk I and a Hawker Hurricane.

The RAF said it was having its no.2 engine replaced this weekend.
