Body found in search for missing Llandudno man

Police say a body found in woodland is believed to be that of a missing Llandudno man.

Michael Bryn Jones was last seen alive in Bangor on Saturday 2nd April, when he visited a convenience store in the city centre and Ysbyty Gwynedd in Penrhosgarnedd.

Officers were called out to the woods near Caerhun in Bangor at just after 7pm on Tuesday evening – formal identification is still to take place, but it’s believed the body is that of the missing 38 year-old man.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and police are in contact with Mr Bryn Jones’s family.
