Arsonists have struck at an outdoor activity centre near St Asaph.

Police say one of two log cabins at Dolben Hall in Cefn was destroyed by fire at some point overnight between Monday 10th and Wednesday 12th April. The other cabin was also partially damaged by fire and smoke.

The 25-acre centre, run by Open Door Adventure, is believed to have suffered from significant financial loss of at least £10,000 as a result – there has also been considerable disruption to activities run by its staff.

Officers say evidence pointed towards a deliberate attack – anyone with information or who may have noticed any suspicious activity should contact PC Steve Hooper at Denbigh Police Station or the St Asaph control room on 101, quoting reference no. RC17052657. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
