Applicants can apply until Tuesday 31st August 2016 by contacting the Rhyl or Prestatyn and Meliden Community Partnership or by collecting an application pack from The Pop In, Prestatyn.
Katy Woodington, Senior Community Investment Officer at RWE Innogy UK, the operator of North Hoyle and Rhyl Flats Offshore Wind Farms, said:
“We are really keen to encourage as many applications as possible.
“Even a relatively small grant can have a huge impact upon on the communities and those that live in them.
“The funding can provide valuable and long-term support for a whole raft of local projects and groups.
She said: “This fund can provide the communities in the area with sustainable support whether that is to launch a new project, fund building work or even support running costs and salaries.
“It is designed to meet the needs of the local communities and I’d urge local voluntary and community organisations seeking financial support to apply today.”
