Appeal for witnesses of Holywell assault

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a man in High Street in Holywell.

The incident occurred at around 2.10am on Monday May 2 2016, during which a 44 year old man sustained serious injuries.

Investigating Officer PC Ben Baker at Flint Police Station said; “The victim was leaving the Boars Head public house on the High Street and was attempting to get into a nearby taxi.  It is believed there was an altercation with a large group of people before he was assaulted.

“The victim required hospital treatment for serious facial injuries.  We would like to speak with anyone who witnessed this assault or may know who is responsible.”
