Abergele’s annual Autumn Fest returns to Pentre Mawr Park for the first weekend of October (5th/6th), offering two days of free, fun and nature-wise entertainment for the family.
Highlights on offer include the ever popular dog show (on Sunday), wood carving demonstrations from the Clwyd Axemen and falconry shows from the Rhyl-based Coastal Hawks project. Other attractions on the bill include bush craft art workshops, a chance to get up close with reptiles and other unusual pets, a display of military vehicles, plus a fun maze, bouncy castles, rides, face painting and stalls selling handcrafted goods and local produce.
The weekend ends with an on-site charity craft auction. Entertainment on both Saturday and Sunday starts from 11am and entry is completely free.
