Abergele man admits child sex offences

An Abergele man has admitted sending sexual messages to a teenage girl via social media.

Kyle Pritchard (25) from Maes y Mor, admitted inciting the girl to exchange the explicit messages from January to March last year. He also pleaded guilty to possessing seven indecent films of children – two of which were deemed in the most serious category.

Caernarfon Crown Court heard Pritchard had denied another change of arranging a child sex offence, which was ordered to remain on file. The defence said he realised the serious nature of the charges but asked the court to consider a pre-sentence report.

Judge Huw Rees told Pritchard he was set to face jail and he was not sending any signals by adjourning sentencing.

Pritchard was released on bail but ordered to register as a sex offender before leaving court.
