Dyserth man convicted of ‘expensive’ play fight

A court has heard how a ‘play fight’ in Rhyl town centre ended with a man smashing through a shop window.

Daniel Sage (20) from Dyserth admitted crashing into Subway on the high street last month, causing criminal damage. Llandudno magistrates ordered him to pay £465 compensation, around half the cost of replacing the window.

The chairman of the court, Peter Hughes, told Sage that he hoped he learned from what was ”quite an expensive play-about”.

Another man will appear in court at a later date.
